Patio season is in full effect here in Atlanta – but if you’re like most, it can be difficult to decide on the best spot to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. To help make the most of your outdoor dining, I’ve included a list of the best patio spots in and around Atlanta. Enjoy!

Classics

Six Feet Under: Though each location boasts rooftop views, the Grant Park location overlooks the historic Oakland Cemetery.

Upscale

Kevin Rathbun Steak: This Inman Park restaurant has a cozy outdoor patio overlooking the Beltline – complete with a larger ceiling fan for warm nights and a beautiful fireplace for the fall and winter.

The Optimist: This Ford Fry oyster bar is a current hot-spot in Atlanta. And in addition to the great seafood and patio, there’s an outdoor putting green so you can practice your golf-game while you wait

Tacos & Margaritas

Raging Burrito & Taco: A Decatur staple, the Raging Burrito garden patio is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a casual weekend afternoon.

Bartaco: With influences from Brazil, Uruguay, and Southern California, sitting on a Bartaco patio will make you feel as though you are at a “stylish beach resort.” Checkout one of the three local locations in Chastain ParkInman Park, and West Midtown.

PURE Taqueria: If you’re looking for a classic Mexican patio experience, PURE is a great choice. Pluse, there are six locations in metro Atlanta, so chances are there is a PURE patio close to you already!

Multiple Choices with Extra Atmosphere

Avalon: Want to stay out of the city? Head to Avalon and grab food at one of their many restaurants and pull up a table next to the gorgeous fountain or have a picnic on their center lawn.

The Battery at Suntrust Park: The Brave’s stadium is surrounded by The Battery – an outdoor retail space filled with delicious restaurants.

Ponce City Market: Yes, their indoor food hall is impressive, but many of their vendors also have outdoor patio sections to enjoy. And you won’t find a better spot than the view from the top on Skyline Park. In addition to carnival games and food, you can eat and drink at 9 Mile Station – an elevated beer garden.
