With so many fruits and vegetables in season during the summer months, now is one of the best time to shop local for your produce. Not sure where to start? I’ve compiled a list of the best markets in and around Atlanta this season. Most of these markets run through the fall (some are even year round), but dates and times are always subject to change, so please review a market’s official site before heading out to shop.

Alpharetta: Downtown Historic Alpharetta. Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. 

Brookhaven: 1375 Fernwood Circle NE. Saturdays 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. 

Decatur: 308 Clairemont Avenue. Wednesdays 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.  

East Atlanta: 572 Stokeswood Avenue. Thursday 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.  

Emory University: Cox Hall Bridge. Tuesdays 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. (special schedule for school breaks/holidays) 

Freedom Parkway: Carter Center Library. Saturdays 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. 

Grant Park: 600 Cherokee Avenue SE. Sundays 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.  

Lilburn: 1400 Killian Hill Road. Fridays from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. 

Marietta Square: 65 Church Street. Saturdays 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and Sundays 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. 

Morningside: 1393 N. Highland Avenue. Saturdays 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. 

Norcross: 5 College Street. Saturdays 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. 

Peachtree Road: 2744 Peachtree Road. Saturdays 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. 

Piedmont Park: 12th Street Gate. Saturdays 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. 

Ponce City Market: The “Shed” at Ponce City Market. Tuesdays 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.  

Sandy Springs: City Springs 220 Mt. Vernon Highway. Saturdays 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. 

Snellville: Snellville Towne Green. Saturdays 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.  

Tucker: 4882 Lavista Road. Thursdays 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
